NW Conservation Ring

Trail's End Gallery is proud to sponsor the Northwest Conservation Ring, a webring intended to bring together diverse aspects of the scenic Northwest, encompassing everything from mountain bike vendors to art galleries.

If you would like your site to be considered for inclusion in the Northwest Conservation Ring, we highly recommend that you first take a moment to browse through the current membership.

If you think that your site fits the intention of the Northwest Conservation Ring, please fill out and submit the following form. Note that Trail's End Gallery, the ring sponsor, makes all final decisions on which sites will be accepted into the ring. Also note that Trail's End Gallery will never ever for any reason use your e-mail address or URL for anything non-ring related.

Once you've done that, you'll need to insert a small fragment of html to your main page to add the ring logo and links. The ring logo will eventually come in several flavors, lo-tech for those of you who are looking for a more subdued presence, hi-tech, which uses Flash, and a small version. Right now only the lo-tech version is done.

Once you've been added to the ring, you can edit your site profile with WebRing at any time.

This is what the lo-tech fragment looks like. Right now it only comes on a white background, but if there is great enough demand, we'll be happy to generate some layouts to go with different colors. Even if you know what you're doing, please don't modify this yourself without clearing it with us first. Here's how to add it to your page:

  1. When you apply to join the Northwest Conservation Ring you'll receive an e-mail with a customized html fragment to insert into your web page.
  2. Or, if you know what you're doing and you're excited to get right to it, you can copy this code and paste it into the page you want to add to the ring. You'll have to edit it in 6 places, replacing the area that say --ID-- with the site ID given to you by the WebRing server.
